We are aware of ongoing concerns within the community regarding a recent increase in burglaries over the past few months. We would like to reassure residents that these incidents have been taken very seriously and have been the subject of a thorough investigation.

We can now confirm that a main suspect has been arrested within the last few days in connection with these offences. The investigation remains ongoing, and we are continuing to pursue all relevant lines of enquiry.
